The first step to take is to fill out a "2012 Loons Recruit Form". Download it, fill it out, and email it back. Our staff will try to get the opportunity to watch you play, or follow up on some details listed in the form. We plan to have tryouts at some point in February 2012.
Our coaches take the time to look for not only talented players, but the character of the individual and how they carry themselves through all situations while supporting their team on and off the field.
Early summer we will host a "Youth Camp". We will encourage our players to reach out to the youths in their community to participate in a inexpensive extremely beneficial camp for all youth ages and skill levels. Our staff and U17 PLAYERS WILL COACH! A large percentage of the camp fee can go directly towards our U17 team players team dues. This is our first year with this concept, but we feel it will be a fantastic way for our players to be a positive figure in their community, teach coaching aspects, produce a sense of pride in giving back to their youth community, and help support team dues in a short time period. WE LOOK FORWARD TO THIS GRASS ROOTS APPROACH!

LEGENDARY VAIL! Hailed by many as the worlds best lacrosse tournament! Directly after our games down in Denver we will take our rental vans, and head west up to the mountains. After checking into our condos (Fallridge @ Vail) Sunday night we settle in for 4 GREAT days of lacrosse! The condos have a private pool, hotub. We have stayed both here, and other places in the past. For the time period and what work we expext the players to put it during the week it is proper to stay at a place with a little more comfort. Games are played in the Vail canyon area. Pool play will progress, and then break in to tournament stlye brackets. Many more NCAA recruits have started to attended this tournament over the years. An average day for the Loons in Vail would look something like.."wake up in the condos to a team breakfast prepared in one of the condo units, team stlyes meals. We then pack some snacks and head to the field for gameplay. After games we would do activities such as Glenwood Hotspings trip, beach volleyball on top of the mountain, spend time in Vail Village, hike, live music at the bandshell, and the annual white water rafting trip. Each night we would either have team stlye dinners at our condos or eat out in Vail village".
In the past we have faired very well against teams such as "Greene Turtles" Denver Eliete" Dallas Select" "AZBCO" and NorCal. After game play on Thursday we head back to the airport for our flight back to Minnesota.
