Team Details

Winter Practices- will kick off with the Presidents Day Clinic. This event gives our coaches an opportunity to see our athletes play once again over the winter period. Dates are listed on our calendar for weekly practices that will stop at the start of the MSHSL Spring season concluding at the end of March

Location: Loons Training Center 1633 Terrace, Roseville MN 55113

Summer Practices- Summer Practices will kick off with the Loons Mini Camp on the weekend/following days of June 6/7. Through the summer the teams will practice 3 days a week. Please reference the calendar for scheduled events. Our staff may also choose to add a practice on the road at an event if the time is available. Practices will run from mini camp to the end of July. Practices at every event is not made mandatory but highly encouraged. Please contact our staff with any concerns as we strongly encourage training but also understand family events.

Team Events and Travel Overview- All Team travel to events outside of Minnesota will be included within team dues provided for by Minnesota Loons Lacrosse. Food, travel needs, and lodging are also provided at events. Water, snack, lunch, and other nourishments are provided on site at travel events. The only costs athletes will need to plan for in travel will be meals in transit to location events. This will be clearly listed in event itinerary.

Communications and Expectations- Teams will communicate through Group Me team chat for day to day conversations. All families are responsible for check, reading, and keeping up with emails. Links for these resources can be found under our private "Team Access" page which is password protected.

NXT Mid- America Invite

Dates of Event:  June 27th-June 28th

Dates of Full travel:  June 26th-June 28th

Team Hotel:

Teams:  Gold, Red teams

Teams and staff will board busses at the LTC on Friday am and begin drive down to Indy. Teams will stop for lunch along the way (not included in fees). Teams will check into hotel that evening with staff in assigned rooms and have dinner provided for them. Teams will have a team event that evening. The next day teams will have breakfast at hotel then depart for the event that day. Water, meals and snacks will be made available for the athletes on site. Teams will return to hotel that night with dinner at hotel. The next day athletes will clear out rooms, have breakfast, and board bus for the event. After tournament play teams will board bus and drive back to MN with food stops. Expect to depart no later than 2pm.

ADRLN Western Shootout

Dates:  July 11-12th. Optional Showcase day July 10th

Travel Dates: July 8th-July 13th

Location:United States Air Force Academy, 2169 Field House Drive USAFA, CO 80840

Team Hotel: Hotel Elegante 2886 S Circle Dr. Colorado Springs CO 80906

Teams: Teams will be selected based on seniority from 2021 grad year down*

ADRLN Western Shootout is one of our programs annual showcase events. Minnesota Loons Lacrosse has attended this event for over a decade receiving excellent results in recruitment and playing great competition. This is a very well run event by an experienced staff who annually provides a large amount of collegiate coaches. The location of this National recruiting event has provided a great mixture and diversity in coaches that attend to recruit.

Teams will leave from the Loons Training Center and make the drive on coach busses straight through to Colorado Springs. Staff will be on the bus. Other staff will meet the teams upon arrival the the Hotel with dinner ready, which is the first meal the program will provide. Teams will check in and be assigned rooms. The next day the athletes will take the trip to go white water rafting. Parents have the opportunity to join the program details to the right. That evening our staff may schedule a practice at Colorado College. The next day the (Optional) ADRLN Western Showcase will take place. starting mid day. Transportation will be provided and staff will be in attendance. Saturday and Sunday will be tournament play. All athletes will spend the day at the tournament venue the US Air Force Academy. After event play athletes will leave from tournament site and bus direct back to the LTC.

Indian Prairie Showdown

Location:  Frontier Park, 3380 Cedar Glade Rd, Naperville, IL 60564

Team Hotel:

Teams: Gold, Red, Black, Youth Girls Teams

Teams and staff will board busses at the LTC on Friday am and begin drive down to Chciago. Teams will stop for lunch along the way (not included in fees). Bus will travel direct to field for a game each on Friday evening.Teams will check into hotel that evening with staff in assigned rooms and have dinner provided for them. Teams will have a team event that evening. The next day teams will have breakfast at hotel then depart for the event that day. Water, meals and snacks will be made available for the athletes on site. Teams will return to hotel that night with dinner at hotel. The next day athletes will clear out rooms, have breakfast, and board bus for the event. After tournament play teams will board bus and drive back to MN with food stops. Expect to depart no later than 2pm.
