Grad Year Teams: 2021, 2022, 2023 U17 - 3 Events. These teams will attend national recruitment events and team camps. Through our experience we have selected these events based on recruitment exposure, diverse regional selection, competition, time spread through the summer and overall experience players receive on the trip. The teams are all inclusive travel, food, lodging.
"U" Teams: U16, U15, U14, U12, - 3 Events U10 - 2 Events. We focus on development, affordable regional travel, and competition with a "Team Travel" aspect built in. The younger U teams have team hotel for parents to book for stay, and teams will have events on site. In conclusion, we don't feel its appropriate for our players and families to travel to the east coast 2 times in the summer to incur higher travel costs.
Training based programming. Girls will train seasonally with our staff and have the option to participate in Fall, Winter, or the Summer season. Each training season will culminate with 1 event (festival event for youth-Recruitment Event for HS). This space will give the opportunity for more individual showcase lacrosse events outside of our training, and provide for building options for year round training!
Below is a list of the seasonal training that Minnesota Loons Lacrosse will offer. Each season and program is optional so that student athletes can contour their schedule for the best fit for their needs and time management.

The Loons have ALWAYS been an ALL INCLUSIVE TEAM PROGRAM for our high school aged teams. Our TEAM and staff travel together to all events. Athletes have fun with teammates and staff on private campus tours, white water rafting, team building events, and alumni games. We provide lodging, transportation, snacks and nourishments during travel and on the field. We provide meals for athletes on the field and buffet at hotels. Athletes are supported with water, iced towels, tents, and managers on all trips. We take the stress away from the athlete and don't cut corners! With safety and athlete support in mind we are proud to provide a support structure that is unmatched within the state and has proven to be amongst the most elite programs in the country.
The events we attend provide an opportunity for our student athletes to compete in front of an extensive amount NCAA DIV I, II, & III programs. Our younger age group programs focus on development while keeping costs low, having fun, without having to take on larger travel costs.
Our staff is extremely knowledgeable, featuring high school head coaches, collegiate coaches, and top current and former NCAA players taught by the best minds in the game. Our staff has had the experience both in being recruited themselves and playing on the game’s biggest stage winning National Championships, and State Championships. Our program is sets itself apart by creating a unique chemistry with our players. As a team we spend time with our players on the field, off of the field in our office, in the mountains on our Colorado trip, and on campus tours. With the Loons, student-athletes are empowered by being supported off of the field with decision making in the college and recruitment process, develop leadership and responsibility, and have the time of their lives along the way!
