Mission:

The "Minnesota Loons Lacrosse Program" is a lacrosse training and development program for youth-high school aged student athletes. Talented and dedicated athletes compete in premiere showcase events across the country with NCAA exposure at the high school age levels. Experienced coaches train in a welcoming fun, and challenging environment through field lacrosse, box lacrosse, and fitness training. The "Loons Training Center" is a facility specifically created for the progression in skills, fitness, and on-site support for recruitment & research lead by our staff. Our goal is to not only improve and develop lacrosse skills, technique, and know how; but also to help develop a strong work ethic for Minnesota's youth and have them "Set their Sights" on their future!

A history of producing All-Americans, Mr. Lacrosse, All-State and beyond...

Over the many years we have had coached countless Minnesota high school lacrosse student athletes that have gone on to receiving a great education, while playing collegiate lacrosse in NCAA DI, DII, DIII, MCLA DI, MCLA DII, NCLL, GLLL and NJCAA. **Many of our players have received scholarships not only for lacrosse, but also for academic performance. We stress to our players the importance of academics and the true fact many more scholarships are awarded every year towards academics compared to lacrosse.

Lacrosse can provide great things for you in life. It can teach you respect, responsibility, and provide a strong work ethic to help reach ones goals, but knowledge can lead you anywhere! We strive to have our players go back to their community with a strong work ethic, the knowledge of how to set..work towards..and achieve goals...in turn being a positive role model!

The MN SELECT Team program is an affordable annual program structured around building a better lacrosse player over the year. Developmental focus begins with local competition and events in the fall. Each individual member will have a personalized web page built for them to document and track progression from our staff. Athletes have year round access to the Loons Training Center and will have periodic weekend practices to focus on skill building, playing with teammates, and working with staff on progression. This manageable schedule is built for students who participate in other sports, live in any region, and who need to focus on academics in a low stress, manageable environment. Optional box lacrosse, add on tournaments, LTC Strength and Elite Training Sessions are always available in our training seasons for additional desired programming. Training will lead into the spring where HS players will play their spring season with their HS teams. Youth will remain with weekly practices, Teams will gear up for our competition season in the summer and hit the road to play in festival events (youth) and recruitment regional and national elite events in front of college coaches.

Focus is geared towards the overall Team experience for each individual and being able to confide in our coaching staff for personal skill development, progression, and accomplishing goals
