MN SELECT 2020 Summer 2024 Team

  • Winter / Spring Practices

    March-May weekly practices. Full-field events will also be on Presidents day for annual full-field practices. This event gives our coaches an opportunity to see our athletes play once again over the winter period. Dates are listed on our calendar.

    Loons Training Center 1633 Terrace, Roseville MN 55113

    When weather permits teams will move outdoors to University of Northwestern

  • Summer Practices:

    Summer Practices will kick off with the Loons Mini-Camp on the weekend/following days of June 6/7. Through the summer the teams will practice 3 days a week. Please reference the calendar for scheduled events. Our staff may also choose to add a practice on the road at an event if the time is available. Practices will run from minicamp to the end of July. Practices at every event is not made mandatory but highly encouraged. Please contact our staff with any concerns as we strongly encourage training but also understand family events.

  • Team Events and Travel Overview

    Athletes will be responsible for travel to all events. Food, snacks and nourishments may be made available at events and will be listed clearly in team itinerary below to clarify all plans. Families are encouraged to stay at "Team Hotels" for off field activities and events. Staff will be at "Team Hotels" and on site all day at events for coaching, filming, and support. 

  • Communications and Expectations

    Teams will communicate through Group Me team chat for day to day conversations. All families are responsible for check, reading, and keeping up with emails. Links for these resources can be found under our private "Team Access" page which is password protected.

Blue Ox

  • Location:

    • Farmington High School, Farmington MN

  • Dates:

    • June 20th-June 21st

  • Local event. No travel plans will be created. The Blue Ox Tournament will take place at Farmington HS complex for the Boys. Players will be instructed to arrive at a set designated time before each of their games. Game time will be posted on the Tourney Machine app. Water and light snacks will be made available at the event at the team area. No meals are scheduled.

N.X.T. The Grail

  • Location:

    • Grand Park, Westfield, IN

  • Dates:

    • Event Dates- June 27th-June28th

  • Hotel:

    • Our Staff & travel teams will be staying at the Sheraton Indianapolis - Keystone
    • We recommend reserving a room here, or at one of the numerous hotels in the Indianapolis Keystone Crossing area, such as the Mariott, Hyatt or Hampton Inn & Suites 

  • Staff will be on site at event and will travel to hotel with the other Boys and Girls teams attending this event. Team hotel information will be listed above. Families are encouraged to stay at team hotels with other team members. Players will be required to be on site at a set designated time for each game. Water and light snacks will be provided on site. Team events in surrounding areas will be planned.

Adrenaline Western Shootout

  • Location:

    • United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs CO

  • Dates:

    • (HS Teams) Travel Dates. July 8th-July 13th (early a.m.)
    • Tournament Dates. July 11th-July 12th

  • Team Hotel:

    • Team Hotel and Parent Room Block. Hotel Elegante Conference and Event Center 2886 S Circle Dr. Colorado Springs Colorado

  • ADRLN Western Shootout is one of our programs annual showcase events. Minnesota Loons Lacrosse has attended this event for over a decade receiving excellent results in recruitment and playing great competition. This is a very well run event by an experienced staff who annually provides a large amount of collegiate coaches. The location of this National recruiting event has provided a great mixture and diversity in coaches that attend to recruit.

    Staff will be on site at event and will travel to hotel with the other Boys and Girls teams attending this event. Team hotel information will be listed above. Families are encouraged to stay at team hotels with other team members. Players will be required to be on site at a set designated time for each game. Water and light snacks will be provided on site. Team events in surrounding areas will be planned like white water rafting if families would like to join.
